Wahed Khakdan is an Iranian-born artist living in Germany since the early 1980s (Bio in German). Most of these rich, magnificent paintings are from 1983 to 1990 ("Winter, 1979" which is at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, is from 1981). Thanks to Soroor Ghanimati for offering these magnificent images. And hopefully, somehow, we'll be lucky enough to see the more recent work of this great artist. -- Jahanshah Javid
