GÉRARD DI-MACCIO was born in Algeria, 1938 from  Italian father and Spaniard mother. Currently he is leader of the Visionary movement of French art. Di-Maccio a student in several of the most famous art academies in Paris: Academie de la Grande Chaumiere, the Académie Julian, Ecole des Beaux-Arts. At the same time, Di-Maccio begins teacher training, and in 1966 presented a thesis entitled "Morpho psychology". The artist participates in a number of important exhibitions in Paris and its surroundings, also in Brussels and Osaka. In 2010 the opening of the Di-Maccio Museum (Nikkappu-Japan). Di-Maccio blends a beautifully diffused brushwork in graceful renderings of the human form, especially the female.His paintings are mostly conceived in a light sepia tone, though some works have a startling bluish tone.Despite initial appearances, Di-Maccio does not use an airbrush.His oil paintings, created on canvas, often exceed two meters in width, and he has created huge murals.
