OSCAR NIN
Blue Marilyn

Black Hole
Palazzo
Turquoise Portrait
Born in Spain, 1980. At the age of 10 he decided to be artist. Mostly self taught, although he went to art school for a couple of years. At present he´s a professional artist and his artwork has been sold to many collectors from all over the world.
Oscar Nin alternates black and white with colour paintings. Could remind to Goya or Francis Bacon, although he has an own approach.
His paintings are characterized for effortless and fresh brushstrokes, or blurry lights and shadows. His subjects are enigmatic figurative portraits with a mixture of abstraction.
"Oscar Sancho Nin loves the colour black for its magic and mystery, and because it reminds him of Goya’s black paintings, a major influence. Without black there would be no light which is one of the striking qualities of Oscar’s work."
